It all started with a creek in Blackwell...

Why Bittercreek?

Bittercreek was a small creek near Blackwell, Oklahoma where my dad called home. He had cattle there that he showed along with other cattle his family ran. From there, my father built an cattle empire with the same name: Bittercreek Livestock Services and it was in this empire that I was born.

It's been a dream of mine to make art with a camera. Photographers know how to capture a moment and freeze it forever and I've always wanted to be that way. I used to go through so many disposable cameras and when digital came out, I went through so many SD cards then.

It seemed only fair when I started my business that I would take on the namesake of the busienss my dad started and use it to remember it.

I'm a born and bred Okie originally from Ponca City! I've lived my life showing cattle, judging livestock, and milking dairy cattle until I was fortunate enough to move to Pocasset, OK and marry the love of my life. Now, we run a gamebird farm and cattle.
